The Miles Solar Farm is a fully operational grid-connected solar project delivering clean energy to Queensland’s electricity network. The project connects to the Ergon Energy (EQL) 33kV network via a newly constructed overhead line that crosses the Warrego Highway and links directly to on-site inverter-based solar PV generators. The system provides reliable, renewable energy to support regional energy needs.

The Queenton Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) project is a major grid-scale energy storage development currently in its early stages. With a planned capacity of 110 MWac and 4-hour discharge duration, the system is strategically located near Charters Towers to support grid stability and energy arbitrage in North Queensland.

Development activities are ongoing, with approximately 12 months of work remaining to reach “Ready-to-Build” status.

The St George Solar Farm is a hybrid solar and storage project under final development in southwest Queensland. The 5 MWac solar PV plant, with 8 MWdc installed capacity, is on track to secure grid connection within the next 3 months, with plans to incorporate a DC-coupled BESS. The integrated 11 MWac / 44 MWh battery system is designed to provide energy shifting and grid support services. The site features a dedicated 33 kV substation and a 0.1 km overhead/underground power line for export.
